APPLICATION
Perforating, Cutting and Creasing can be carried out during the printing operation, on the smaller sheet fed press, with the use of DURAPERF Perforating Strips on both Paper and Card.

RANGE
● SIDE PERFORATING RULE – perforates, cuts & creases on the edge of the Perforating Rule.
● CENTRE PERFORATING RULE – perforates, cuts & creases in the middle of the Perforating Rule.

AVAILABILITY
●Side and Centre Perforating Rules are available in boxes of 1.8 and 6 metre length.
●The product range is specifically available for both paper and card applications.

HOW TO USE
● There are a number of methods of applying Perforating Rules to the Impression Cylinder. Ensure any grease or oil is removed and the surface is dry before APPLICATION and that an Impression Cylinder Jacket is fitted (subject to press specification).
● To apply the Perforating Rule directly to the Impression Cylinder:
   1. Ink and turn one printing cycle without paper to transfer the image to the Cylinder.
   2. Measure and cut the rules to the required rength.
   3. Remove the paper backing to expose the adhesive surface.
   4. Align the rule on the Cylinder using the printed image as a guide.
   5. Press down firmly on the rule and secure in position with the clear adhesive tape.
   6. Adjust (back off) impression pressure making sure that press parts clear the rule.
   7. The fitting of a used printing blanket may be preferred in the event that rule leaves an impression after use.
